ABOUT US
JSFF – Japanese Serbian Film Festival is an annual themed exchange film and cultural festival launched in the year of 2014, based in Tokyo and Belgrade mainly screening short films at the time. A year later event was rebranded from the Japanese Short Film Festival to the Japanese - Serbian Film Festival and became a cultural exchange platform for filmmakers and artists between those two countries.
In the year 2020, JSFF launched a feature film screening section lasting to this date. Following year JSFF was listed in the official programme of the European Capital of Culture Novi Sad 2022.
JSFF collateral events such as exhibitions, performances, and forums became an essential part of the festival curriculum. This eventful agenda provides spectators with themed FOCUS and cultural REFERENCE on contemporary global challenging phenomena.
